The territory features of the plain and first hills of the Modena province have always been suitable for the growing of the  Lambrusco vineyards and this area is carrying the DOC (Controlled Denomination of Origin) for the different types of Lambrusco produced. All our Lambrusco wines are produced with grapes coming from the Modena province.
Lambrusco is the name of both the vines and the excellent wine coming from that grapes. These wines are worldwide known and appreciated for being frothy and slightly sparkling red wines, that are designed to be drunk young from one of the four different types of DOC Lambrusco wine produced in the Modena area: Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro (the most appreciated Lambrusco in the export markets because tasteful and full-bodied), Lambrusco di Sorbara, Lambrusco di Modena and Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce. All of them are included in our range.
The grapes of the 420 members come from 600 hectares of traditional and modern vineyards of the upper modenese plain and mainly from the first hills of our area.

Cantina Formigine Pedemontana is the result of efforts and decision of members of 2 cooperatives, Cantina di Formigine and Cantina Pedemontana di Braida, that in 2006 decide to merge the two companies and their local products, building a new high technologic plant for wine production in alignment with the new customer and market needs.

The fertility of this land granted the growing of its excellent vineyards, but we can not forget that behind every single bunch of grapes there are the efforts and experience of a man, a woman, a family… who lovely grow and see ripen their vineyards to obtain finally that excellent sparkling lambrusco wine so appreciated with modenese tipical food.

Our partners are introduced in those commercial channels that are able to emphasize the quality of our products. Our aim is to satisfy our customers with high quality wines and with excellent quality/price ratio.
